You can use this form to tell us you have moved from your current property in Enfield where you are liable for the Council Tax, and about the address you are moving to.
- If your new address is within the Enfield area, and your completed form shows you should be liable for the Council Tax there, we will set up a new Council Tax account for you.
- If you will not be liable for the Council Tax at your new address, or your new address is outside of the Enfield area, we will apply your new address for correspondence purposes only.
- If you have moved to another Council area and should be liable for the Council Tax there, you will need to contact your new Council to register for the Council Tax for the new property after advising us you have moved out of Enfield.
Please provide as much information as possible to help us complete the process as quickly as possible. Updates will be made immediately to your Council Tax account where possible, but some will need to be processed by our staff. New Council Tax bill(s) will be issued to confirm the changes made, once processed.
To complete the form you'll need
- The date you sold your property and the new owners' names, or the date your tenancy agreement ended and your landlord's details, and the date you moved out, if different
- If you will be moving within Enfield and will be liable for the Council Tax at the new address, you will need the completion date of the purchase of the new property, or the date your tenancy agreement commenced, and the date you moved into the property.
